The Qwowi.com staff is constantly on the lookout for products to review for our site. If you have a new, innovative, or just really cool product, website, or service you would like us to consider for review on Qwowi.com, please fill out the form on the bottom of this page. While we’ll do our best to put your product in the hands of an appropriate member of our review staff, we invite you to request a specific reviewer if you’re so inclined. Although we try to respond to each review request we receive, because of the growing interest in what we do, we may not be able to reply to every review request.

Review Pricing

Qwowi.com does not currently accept any form of monetary compensation for our reviews. Instead, we rely heavily on ad revenue to help pay the bills. If and when we decide to accept payment for reviews, that information will be disclosed in the review itself. For now, however; we work for free.

How Products are Chosen

In addition to reviewing products we’ve purchased for personal use, products are chosen from ideas submitted by product representatives (marketing & PR types). Each member of our review staff has the discretion to choose what he or she will review from among the requests we receive each month. Once again, if you would like us to consider your product for review, please use the form below.

Please understand there is no payroll at Qwowi.com. Members of the review staff are not compensated financially for their efforts. Reviewing products here is not anyone’s full-time job. The staff is motivated largely by the opportunity to try out, write about, and ideally, keep the products we receive. For this reason, we generally give preference to products that do not need to be returned. Without mincing any more words: We like free stuff.

With that said, each of our reviewers is at liberty to make arraignments to review products that will need to be returned.  On those occasions, we ask that you include a return shipping label with your product.

Review Policies & Timing

We will not guarantee a positive review, nor will we grant any sort of approval rights prior to publishing.  Since we do, however, choose products for review based on our own personal interests; it is true that the majority of our reviews tend to be favorable.

When we agree to review a product, we do our best to set reasonable expectations as to when the review will be completed. Depending on the level of effort involved it may take several days, or even several weeks to complete.  Product reviews written for inclusion of one of our “theme weeks” tend to have more tightly defined deadlines.

We’re very much hands-on, and pride ourselves on our commitment to detail.  As a result our reviews tend to take a bit longer to complete (although turn around time is usually two weeks or less, depending on the complexity of the product, and in some cases, the weather).  We have never failed to deliver a product review.

Requesting a Specific Reviewer

Each of our reviews has a unique style.  Some of our reviews are verbose, while others are succinct and to the point.  Some inject a bit of humor or whimsy into their reviews, while others are more matter of fact in their delivery.  We encourage you to browse our site to help determine which member of our review staff you feel would be best able to represent your product.    Of course, if you would like to leave it up to us, that’s fine too.  Here are a few sample reviews to get you started:
